    1. Day 1: Yangon arrival

      Mingalabar! Welcome to Yangon, one of Southeast Asia’s cultural treasures.
      Our tour guide & driver will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You are free at leisure to unwind from the long flights.

    2. Day 2: Yangon – Kyaiktiyo

      After breakfast in the hotel, we are leaving Yangon in the morning; enjoy a scenic journey to Kyaiktiyo, 190km to the east. One of Myanmar’s great pilgrimage sites is the Golden Rock at Kyaiktiyo, a huge boulder covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. The pagoda at the Golden Rock is said to hold a hair of the Buddha. Late morning, arrive at Kyaikhtiyo base camp and transfer to the transit junction with one of the small open trucks in a one-hour ride. After lunch, start walking up to the Golden Rock and enjoy sunset from this unforgettable site.

    3. Day 3: Kyaiktiyo – Bago – Yangon

      After breakfast, return to the base–camp by open truck and head in the direction of Yangon for 110km to Bago, an ancient capital dating back to the 6th century. Sightseeing in Bago includes the beautiful 55m long reclining Buddha called Shwethalyaung and the Mon style Shwemawdaw Pagoda, one of the most venerated in Myanmar. Its spire stands 114m high and is taller even than the Shwedagon Pagoda. Also visit the old Palace of Kambozathadi and the huge four sitting Buddhas. Transfer back to Yangon.

    4. Day 4: Yangon – Fly to Bagan – sightseeing

      Take your morning flight to Bagan. Pick up by our local guide & driver before start your first excursion to explore this magic city with its numerous pagodas and temples as well as a fascinating countryside.
      Begin the tour with a visit to local market Nyaung Oo Market, for a dose of local life and culture. Come to Shwezigone pagoda, which is believed to enshrine a bone and tooth of Gautama Buddha. Next to Wetkyi village – Wetkyi In Gubyaukgy temple. Going to Ananda, Sulamani Temple. Later, we visit few temples nearby and discover the traditional way that local people make the lacquer wares which features a part the Bagan fame. The highlight of the day is you will admire the fascinating sunset at one of the temples/ hills in Bagan zone.

    5. Day 5: Bagan – Salay – boat trip – Bagan

      After breakfast, morning drive to Salay to visit Yokesone Monastery, which is the oldest surviving wooden monastery hall, built on 154 teak posts with beautiful wood carvings decorating the outer walls. Continue to Payathonzu, a complex of three brick shrines with mural paintings from the Bagan period, and see Man Paya – a large lacquer Buddha image, said to date from the 13th century. Return to Bagan through Chauk (53km– 1hour), where you will see old Burma Oil installations ('nodding donkeys'), and along the banks of the Ayeyarwady River.
      Drive back to Bagan in the early afternoon.
      In the afternoon, transfer to the Bagan boat jetty. Board a private river boat and set off upriver toward Kyauk Gu U Min. Throughout your Irrawaddy river cruise you will be treated to fabulous scenes of life on the water: fishermen, local ferry boats, riverside villages and views of the Bagan temples. After your exploration of Kyauk Gu U Min, you'll return to the boat for a relaxing and enjoy sunset when back to Bagan.

    6. Day 6: Bagan – Fly to Heho – Pindaya – Inle Lake

      Fly to Heho, pick up & take a trip to Pindaya. Visit to Pindaya Cave, these caves are ensconced in a limestone ridge overlooking the lake. Inside the cavern there are more than 8000 Buddha images – made from alabaster, teak, marble, brick, lacquer and cement – and are arranged in such a way as to form a labyrinth throughout the various cave chambers. Shwe U Min Paya – this is a cluster of low stupas just below the ridge near the Pindaya Caves. In the afternoon, drive to Inle Lake for hotel check in. Free at leisure.

    7. Day 7: Inle Lake Discovery

      Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar, located 900m above sea level and is home to unique one leg rower Intha people.
      This morning, you will visit the 5-day market which is hold in different villages surround the lake. This is definitely a fascinating place to enjoy the scene of local tribes in their colorful clothes and exotic market atmosphere.
      Board on motorboat for a sightseeing tour to Phaungdawoo Pagoda, famed for its richly gilded five small Buddha images, also is believed the holiest in Inle Lake. Our next visit is Ngaphechaung monastery. As you travel further to Nam Pan village; cotton and lotus weaving factory, cigar making houses will impress you with a sense of traditional Intha life.
      After lunch, the boat will take you to beautiful temple of Indein, located on the hill overlooking the lake. It will be definitely relaxing to walk along the corridor and enjoy the giant columns which have been left to the nature for centuries. Go around Indein, visiting a local school and making your way to the top of AlaungSitthou. Stroll amid the weather worn stupas and enjoy magnificent views of the lake below.

    8. Day 8: Inle Lake cooking

      Today is perfect for cuisine lovers. You will enjoy half day cooking class with an experienced local chef. Our driver will pick up at the hotel and transfer to the meeting point. At the beginning, you will have an interesting overview about local ingredients by a short market stop. Then, join the cooking class where you learn to cook authentic Myanmar dishes from fresh, local quality ingredients on traditional charcoal cookers. Enjoy the lunch/ dinner with the food made by yourself. Back to hotel for your free time.

    9. Day 9: Inle Lake – Fly to Yangon – city tour

      Drive will transfer you to Heho airport for the flight back to Yangon.
      On arrival, you will spend rest of the day exploring the heart of Yangon city: Sule Pagoda. It is believed to enshrine a strand of hair of the Buddha. From Sule Pagoda, we embark on an orientation walk to Chinese Town, covering exotic streets of Yangon downtown and British Colonial building as Emmanuel Church, Inland Water Buildings.
      Continue to Bogyoke Market, formerly named Scott’s Market (Closes on Monday and some specific holidays). It is now the main tourist destination where you can find antique, Burmese handicrafts & jewelry shops, art galleries & clothing stores.
      Late afternoon, discover the most outstanding pagoda in Yangon: Shwedagon pagoda, the golden pagoda is really a must see while you are in Myanmar. 
      Optional: In the evening, it is suggested to enjoy a traditional dinner in Karaweik Palace overlooking to the Royal Lake and Shwedagon Tower. You will be served a dinner of fine Burmese food followed by an amazing cultural show. Please contact us for further information.

    10. Day 10: Yangon departure

      You are free time till our driver transfers you to the airport for your departure flight.
