Three months after Vietnam, Myanmar resumed operating international flights in April.

On Monday, 19th September 2022, the first flight ever operated by Myanmar Airways International to Vietnam landed in Noi Bai Airport – Hanoi. The airline said that from now on, there would be flights to HCMC every Thursday.

Previously, passengers between the two nations had to transit through Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. By using Airbus A320 aircraft, there are two weekly flights between Myanmar’s largest city and Hanoi on Mondays and Fridays.
